ABOUT THE CHARACTER:

MaiLei Blossom is a lovely creation of mixed heritages.  Her father is Caucasian and her mother is Asian.  She is a curious preschooler who is seeking knowledge about her own cultures as well as others.  She hopes other children will join her in a journey to learn about all the beauties of the world.   

                        Together friends, we will blend.

ABOUT THE WRITER:

Tracy Mesuda was inspired by her young daughter to write children's picture books.  It was her daughter's love for reading which encouraged Tracy to pursue publication of her stories.
